What
a stellar show! 120+ Kramers were displayed over the weekend, and
for those of you who weren't there, you need to be there next year!
Pictures will be posted soon. I wanted to give special "props"
to people who directly contributed to this show as each one of you
were truly dedicated to make this thing go off without a hitch.
Brian Ballard, Eric Earnest, and Charlie the Sound Guy
- The dedication these guys have shown towards this show was nothing
short of incredible. Eric's collection was probably one of the best
Kramer collections I've ever seen, and his professionalism and candor
made the show into something that will be endured. Brian Ballard's
commitment to this show as well was unparalleled, and he deserves
the up most in gratitude from anyone who attended the show. His
ability to keep his cool when things were difficult to manage in
planning this event will not be forgotten by me. We all owe Brian
a huge "pat on the back" for his efforts on this event.
Charlie, your stage and sound setup was nothing short of amazing,
thank you.
Dennis
Berardi, Carol Berardi, and Peter LaPlaca - From the bottom
of all of our hearts from the attendees, thank you 100 times over
for being a part of our "little" show. Your kindness and
"down to Earth" attitudes impressed everyone there, you
three are close friends to all of us now. Also, thanks for taking
the time to sign our guitars and other items, along with the heartfelt
conversations.
Tony Begley - Tony's
involvement with sponsoring our Konvention room and his bringing
of the #1 prototype Kramer Aluminum Neck Guitar was very much appreciated
by everyone. Tony is a great guy, and I look forward to speaking/working
with him in the future. Thanks Tony!
That's 80's Hair Band - Thank you, thank you, thank
you for the show of a lifetime. I don't think there was one person
at the show who didn't think you performed those songs better than
the original bands that played them. What a truly incredible band,
I'm proud That 80's Hair Band is the official band of Vintage Kramer.
A personal thanks goes out to my good friend Rob Neubauer for making
this performance happen, he did this out of the kindness of his
own heart, and for his love of Kramers. They took this gig without
payment of any sort, and actually had out of pocket expenses. Thank
you!
Forum Members and Attendees - Thanks to all of
you, this show became a huge success. Without your involvement and
enthusiasm, I don't think it would have turned out the way it did.
I met some friends for life at that show, as I'm sure everyone else
did. Safe journey's to you all on your way back home. I would like
to also thank Paul the Van
Halen Guy and Jeremey Terry for a 10 hour road trip that seemed
like a 10 minute drive. The laughs will not be forgotten. Another
big thanks to VK's own Dave Nardelli for making the initial call
to Dennis Berardi that brought all of us together. Another personal
thanks to Doug Bass at Trillian Guitars for the NAMM passes! And
one more last but not least thank you to Terry
Boling, the "Kramer Godfather", who brought some absolutely
killer Kramer memorabilia.
All of our Sponsors - Brian, myself and Eric would personally like
to thank all of you one more time.

What
to Bring and Other Details
- Everyone
is encouraged to bring a Kramer that's special to them, and something
the rest of the group would enjoy seeing. Since Vintage Guitar Magazine
is going to be there taking pictures of our old guitars, we will need
to organize which guitars certain members will be bringing in order
to keep "double-up" from happening. Make sure and bring locks
for your cases and keep your guitars "on guard" as well.
Bring Kramer memorabiliia if you have any. This stuff is always fun
to look at.
Amps, bring amps at your own discretion for the Jam session.
Tables and Guitar Stands - Make sure and bring a guitar stand
for your guitar(s) for display in the photo shoot. Tables will
be provided by the hotel for the guitars to rest on.
If you have any swag that relates to your company or service, please
bring it! Show off and try to sell what you have there, its a great
opportunity when all of us are in one place!
